15e
Though it’s the largest and most populous of them all, the 15ᵉ arrondissement falls off the agenda for the most visitors as it lacks even a single important building or monument. If the area has heart it’s the surprisingly provincial rue du Commerce. In the southern corners are two modern and attractive parks that are especially good for kids: the Parc André-Citroën, built over the Citroën works, and the Parc Georges-Brassens, on the site of a former abattoir. Elsewhere in the 15ᵉ there are some pleasant areas to wander around, many with offbeat associations, such as the island Alée des Cygnes, and the artist colony known as La Ruche.
